Vathtn Clthteef & Arpels highly-regarded Alhambra collection reaches impressive new heights with this breathtaking 18k Rose Gold necklace. The Gold is paired with vintage Bois D amourette which was purchased by Jacques Arpels himself over a quarter-century ago, and subsequently aged to perfection. Vathtn Clthteef & Arpels actually brought in an experienced French cabinet-maker/inlayer to carve out the motifs used in this necklace, and he did so using antique machinery which had been used to cut Boulle marquetry back in the times of Louis XIV. This piece is not only beautiful, but truly historic as well. One of our best!
